Data Deletion Request
Wedvera users can request account deletion or deletion of personal information. This page explains the public request workflow for the Wedvera mobile app and marketplace.
How To Request Deletion
Email privacy@wedvera.com from the email address associated with your Wedvera account. Include "Data deletion request" in the subject and, if available, your display name and city or market so Wedvera can locate the account.
Verification
Wedvera may ask you to verify account ownership before deleting, exporting, or changing account data. Wedvera will not use this step to collect more information than reasonably needed to confirm the request.
What Can Be Deleted
- Profile details that are not needed for active transactions, disputes, safety reviews, legal obligations, or payment records.
- Draft, inactive, or removed listings where retention is not needed for moderation, fraud prevention, support, or legal compliance.
- Saved listings, local preferences, and similar non-essential marketplace activity where technically feasible.
What May Be Retained
- Completed order, payment, refund, payout, tax, accounting, and chargeback records.
- Messages, reports, support tickets, handoff records, dispute evidence, and admin actions tied to marketplace safety or transactions.
- Records needed to prevent fraud, enforce policies, resolve legal claims, comply with law, protect users, or maintain security.
- Backup records until they age out under Wedvera's normal backup retention process.
Timing
Wedvera aims to acknowledge deletion requests within 10 business days and complete verified requests within 45 days unless more time is needed because of security, legal, payment, dispute, tax, or identity-verification reasons.
